Frequently Asked QuestionsPlease Read Before Booking

What should I wear? Ideal clothing would be a close-fitting top and trousers or jeans, no loose sleeves or baggy jumpers. We are indoors so something comfortable and with flat shoes or trainers, (no open-toed shoes please). Face piercings may need to be removed or taped over.

Do I need to bring anything with me? No, we provide all of the archery equipment suited to your size, handedness and strength. The course covers what to look for in your first bow so we recommend that you do not buy any equipment until you copmplete the course.

Can a junior attend on their own? The course is open to anyone aged 10 or over but for children under 12 they must be accompanied. We have a seating area where you can watch, or why not get involved yourself?

I’ve done archery before; do I need to do another course?  For experienced archers, such as those moving into the area or picking a bow up again after a break, we offer an assessment session with one of our coaches.  There are three outcomes – that you can join without any further coaching, or you need additional sessions, or that you need a full beginners’ course.
